plasmidomics software package provides draw plasmids and vector maps with PostScript graphics export, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasmidomics
plasmidomics is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasmidomics package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasmidomics *
You will get with plasmidomics package name, version, architecture and description in a table
